scary movies = not for Blythe 8-)

Slept in til 10 or so this morning. I called Blythe and said good morning, and then took a shower. We went out looking for a paraffin wax thingy for Grandma, cause they're using it for her therapy. Didn't find one, but we did go to K-mart and Big Lots.

Around 2, after leaving Goodwill, Blythe called and said we could get together, so I went to pick her up, and we came back here. We watched Wait Until Dark, which is an absolutely awesome movie with Audrey Hepburn, and of course, Blythe freaked when Roat jumped 10 feet across the room and grabbed her by the ankle... After I got her calmed down from that near heart attack though, we had a good evening for the rest of the time. We played some Sonic the Hedgehog 2 on the back porch. She had never played a Sonic game before. I thought *everyone* had played a Sonic game... jeez. Anywayz, she left around 7 to go to Cassie L's... she's spending the night there and going to church with her in the morning.

Anyway, Goodwill turned up nothing too exciting. They had some Atari 5200 games, which is awesome, but I can't seem to find a 5200 system in the wild anywhere. They had Combat for the 2600, but everyone who owns a 2600 owns that game. 8-) There was an NHL game for SNES, which didn't excite me, especially for $2.95. I don't want to spend that much on a junky old sports game, sorry. There was a Genesis Model 1; it was only $15, but it didn't come with controllers or hookups and I already have two Model 1's and a Model 3, so I passed.

Went to Wal-Mart tonight and finally found grandma's paraffin machine thingamajig up by the pharmacy. Also got a really nice clipboard/notebook thing with storage in the back that will easily hold my calculator, Dell Axim, and pens and pencils.

Mom and Dad are fixing homemade, healthy pizza.

Well, I think that's about it for now, so I'm gonna go check out Pez Community Forums, one of my favorite message boards.
