ahh, a decent Monday

Today, Grandma and I took Mom to her dentist appointment a little before 11 A.M. She is now seeing Doctor Price. It was barely sprinkling when we got there, and Grandma and I decided to walk right over to Hastings and have a little fun while waiting on mom. By the time mom's dentist's appointment was over and she had walked over to Hastings also because Grandma and I had the keys to the van with us, it was pouring, she was drenched, and we all 3 had to walk back over to the van. It was well worth it though because I got Secret Window for $7.99 and K-19: The Widowmaker for $6.99 - Dad's money! :-)

Today was Grandpa's birthday... We had them over for dinner, and we all watched Secret Window...

Jacob S. came over to be tutored... we played pool and built with Legos... Lego rocks! I'm keeping Tim (Jacob S.'s dad) in my prayers... He ran off the road and totalled Shanen's car... they said the car was completely totalled, and that his back and ribs were hurting, but that he didn't want to go to the doctor/hospital... Praying he's doing well... Hope to find out more soon...

I called Blythe right before Girl Scout's, and it was really funny cause after 2 or 3 rings, apparently her phone flipped open somehow, and she was unaware... I'm standing here screaming trying to get her attention, cause I'm hearing everything in the background, and I know she's there... finally, I hang up and try again... apparently a flip phone will ring even if it's open because she answered... so, I talked to her for a very short time... Sarah H. and one or two other girls were with her... She was happy to hear from me... They were just pulling out of Taco Bell... She called again at 8:36... she sounded tired and said she had been working on homework. She also sounded happy to talk to me! :-) I love you, Blythe!

Talked to Brian R. about playing trumpet on Friday... he'll be there if he isn't going to the Mules game in Columbia... Hope he can make it.

Tomorrow, Blythe is playing at the band concert here in P.B. My band is playing the gig at the youth service at that church... Looking forward to it.

Blythe is supposed to call me tomorrow shortly after school! I CAN'T WAIT TO TALK TO HER!!! :-D I really wish I could make it to the band concert...

Well, I'm gonna go read or something... Salem's Lot going slowly, but I'm still enjoying it...
