Freezing my butt off

School started today. That went fairly well. I did Bible, Physics, Vocabulary, and started my GED study book. I had to rack my brain a little and look back over my physics notes from 3 months ago, but it wasn't bad at all. It's still fairly easy for me.

So, I just got up a few minutes ago to turn down the AC in the living room because it is colder than Antarctica in this house. I also went back to the closet to get some comfortable pants to sleep in, and of course the lights are all off except my overhead and a lamp here in the computer room... I'm walking down the hall minding my own business. Now, I'm kinda dense, but it didn't take me too long to figure out that the cat was lying right in the middle of the floor in front of the bathroom door... Apparently I realized this somewhere between tripping over him and hitting the floor. Needless to say, I nearly killed myself and the moron cat.

Tomorrow morning is my very first college algebra class at TRCC. It starts at 9:30 A.M., a time I haven't seen on the clock in weeks due to excessive amounts of shut-eye in the late morning hours. (As opposed to early morning hours when I seldom sleep) So, tonight I force myself to turn in at 10:30.

This evening Dad and I went to Jr. High. Shivelbines music store was there today (first day of school) to sell musical instruments to band students. We ordered 2 DVD recorders from them for the church, and they were kind enough to just bring them from Cape today because they were already coming to town for the Jr. High band. So, we picked up the DVD recorders, and I saw Haleigh S., Megan R., and Ethan C. while we were there. Haleigh and Megan are both percussion (ROCK ON!) and Ethan is playing oboe. Christy (Haleigh's mom) says Vince (her husband) is doing better after his surgery yesterday on his nose... I'm unsure exactly of the problem, but she says he's still in some pain, so we continue to keep him in our prayers.

Watched Planes, Trains, and Automobiles (Steve Martin and John Candy) tonight. That movie is HILARIOUS

Well, I have blinkies I wanna add so, I'm gonna do that for a while. It's a pain having to go to bed at such an early hour! lol Thank God for cable internet... I know this blog is becoming quite graphic intense, but most connections should be able to handle it fairly easily... And, I changed my settings so only 6 posts are displayed on the index page instead of 10...
