music lessons and college schedules

Either morning came earlier this morning or bedtime was later last night! I can promise you that time hasn't changed, so I know that it must have been my bedtime that did. I am accustomed to staying awake until 1 or 2 in the morning reading, watching a movie, listening to music or pursuing some other hobby, because Nighttime is My Time... (Mary Higgins Clark reference, sorry) :-) I usually stay awake late (or early, technically, lol) and sleep until around 9:30 or 10 during the summer... Now I have to quickly re-adjust my sleep schedule so I can make it to classes at 9:00 A.M.

This morning I went to the college and changed one of my classes so I could be with a professor whom I already know, so instead of having classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays, I will have classes on *Mondays*, Tuesdays, and Thursdays... The other advantage to this is that I will have only one class per day, giving me time for guitar and piano lessons on Tuesdays.

I just remembered the funniest thing at Jr. High orientation last night... the P.E. teacher at Jr. High, a dear lady who has been at PBJHS for a long time, motioned me over about 30 minutes before orientation started and goes, "Matthew, do you have your license?" "Yes, Mrs. Davis." "Could you run an errand for me? I left my reading glasses at home and I can't see to read anything without them... Could you go to my house and get them for me?" So, she calls her husband, who is working on their house (otherwise he could have brought them), and he is waiting outside the garage door, glasses in hand when I arrive. I get the glasses, race back to Jr. High, and get her glasses to her just in time! It was great! lol

Well, I added a bunch of blinkies over there on the right! ---------------->

If you want to know a little more about my personality, just read those! :-) lol

I'm going to go watch some TV. School starts tomorrow for all the public schoolers, and I believe I will start some things again too. Eragon is going well. I continue to make progress. It is right at 500 pages long, and I plan to finish it and immediately start Eldest (it will be out by then) Eldest is over 700 pages long, so it will hopefully give the effect of having read one large book. Eldest isn't even out yet, and I can't wait for it and the final volume in this trilogy to be released!
