been a while

It's been a long while since my last post, so I thought I would fill everyone in on as much of the latest news as possible...

I finished my semester at college with a 4.0 for the semester! :-) I didn't have to take my finals because I had A's... so, life is wonderful. I am already set up to tutor next semester..

I somehow magically ended up with almost $500 right before Christmas, between tutoring and website paychecks! I got Christmas shopping done, and I still have quite a bit of money left...

Speaking of shopping, we went to Cape yesterday to shop... Had a great time! We left at 7 AM and got home at 10 PM... I bought myself a few things. I got a new tan and green Nike sockhat that perfectly matches a shirt I already had, Commander Keen brand new for Gameboy Color, and Metroid: Zero Mission in like new condition for Gameboy Advance. Those were my early gifts for myself. Also bought many other things, but I will post Christmas-y gifts after they have been opened by all...

The Christmas dinner at church was great, and night-before-last we had the Polar Express showing at the church. That was fun, and the cookies, fudge, and homemade hot chocolate were wonderful!

This morning at 9 I had piano lessons. Then we went to Hastings, Wal-Mart, Dollar Tree, Goodwill, JC Penney, Wal-Mart, and one other store... We got some new kitchen glasses...

Dad is at Grandma's wrapping gifts/coordinating Christmas-y things...

I have a terribly stopped up head... My nose is all stuffy, and I had a sore throat for a few days... I'm much better, but I still am having trouble breathing... Kleenex are my friends... I'm using Nasalcrom and a Vicks inhaler combined with Nighttime/Daytime...

Shannon, Ted, Celce, and Anna are arriving in PB tomorrow... I'm looking forward to that. :-) I love Celce to death, Anna's a cutie, Ted's awesome, and Shannon is like a sister...

I am keeping an eye on eBay for a new Sega Game Gear system... mine is getting very old, the screen is scratched, and the display has gotten VERY dim... it's nearly unplayable, so I want to get one in perfect conditon... (preferably new in box, sealed) This will be somewhat hard to find reasonably. The few I've seen have gone for more than they are worth, proving to me that people actually want them and are willing to pay fairly high prices for them...

Anyway, that's a lot of the latest... I'll think of more as soon as I click post, but oh well...
