After Dad got home from work this afternoon, we went out on the town. First we went to Hastings. I had planned on buying something, but walked out of the store empty handed. Oh well. There's always next time. They have a really nice hardcover copy of the Complete Works of Edgar Allan Poe that I desperately want, but it's $23, and I probably won't get a paycheck until February 10th at the earliest. So, I refrained from making a purchase. I am also saving money for our Cape trip on Saturday.

After Hastings, Mom and Dad ran in Aldi's... I stayed in the van, wrote in my journal, and played on my laptop.

The weather this evening was really nice... Refreshingly cool, yet not too cold; just enough breeze.

We watched the movie "The Cave" last night. It was decent. Plenty of action and lots of creatures. Mom was disappointed with the ending, but I kind of liked it. It certainly left the story open for a sequel, I thought. I especially loved all the underwater photography. (My main interest for a couple years was oceanography/marine biology.) But the best part of the movie was when the credits rolled... I went, "I KNOW THAT SONG!!!" It was the song Nemo by Nightwish. I was shocked and ecstatic to hear it!
